Travel+Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2023 has announced Winners of “Cities” category. Top 10 Best Cities in Asia for 2023 includes Ha Noi and Hue in the 6th and 8th places respectively.

Ha Noi is a destination for those who love the elegant, poetic and the ancient beauty dotted with the colour of time. The capital of Vietnam embraces the ancient and nostalgic beauty, which is reflected in contemporary architecture and typical cultural and culinary quintessence.

Taking place earlier this June, in Ha Noi, Michelin presented to people in the world the official debut of MICHELIN Guide Hanoi & Ho Chi Minh City 2023 with a list of 103 restaurants, including 4 One MICHELIN Star. Amongst the 103 restaurants in the selection (48 in Ha Noi and 55 in Ho Chi Minh City), 3 in Ha Noi are recognised with One MICHELIN Star for their high-quality cooking: Gia, Hibana by Koki, and Tầm Vị; 13 establishments receive a Bib Gourmand for offering good food at moderate prices; 32 other establishments are recommended in the MICHELIN Guide.

Those awards are the new beginning of Vietnamese cuisine in general and of Ha Noi in particular. It is a big opportunity to introduce and promote specialties of the country, restaurants with good quality to international friends and moreover, a stepping stone of the country’s culinary to position its brand in the world’s map.
