Hue to Have an Additional Pedestrian Street

Hue City will have a new 460-meter-long pedestrian street along the Perfume River. This route will extend from Toa Kham Wharf to Da Dap Bridge, located adjacent to the riverside of the Huong Giang Hotel.

This project has a total investment of over 35 billion VND, commenced in January 2025. This pedestrian route is designed in combination with a bicycle lane, is 6 meters wide, and includes a drainage and lighting system.

Once completed, this pedestrian street will connect with the lim wood pedestrian bridge along the Perfume River that was built previously and the pedestrian street along the Nhu Y River. This will create an almost continuous pedestrian network on the south bank of the Perfume River, which will establish a convenient and attractive pedestrian transportation network, contributing to making Hue an even more livable and appealing city.
