THE LAST ADVENTURE IN VIETNAM - 
FANSIPAN MOUNTAIN CONQUEST

                                    LAOCAI - HANOI (10days/ 9nights)

This adventure tour will lead you to the top of Mount Fansipan, which is 3143 meters, above the sea level and considered the Indochina Peninsula’s rooftop. Though only 9km from Sapa, the round-trip walk will take five days because of the rough terrain. This trip is a real experience for those who love nature as well as to discover ethnic culture. Anyone in physical shape can make the trek up to the top. There are no mountain huts or Other facilities along the way. The temperature go down 00C on the  mountain. The trip includes a guide and porters who will carry your bags with limit of 14kg per person. These experienced companions will help you cook and camp in tents en-route. Since all of the equipment such as sleeping bags, tents, food, drinking water (water on the mountain is pure and drinkable after being boiled or pharmaceutically treated), walking sticks, insect repellent, medical kit, ect. Are not available in Sapa, you will have to prepare everything at home. Trekkers should make the 9th day of the itinerary a Sunday in order to be able to participate in the weekly ethnic fair in Sapa. The trek can be best done in dry months between November and April.

Day 1: Arrival Hanoi

Arrival a Noibai Airport. Meet and transfer to downtown for check-in hotel. Enjoy water puppet show in the evening. Dinner and overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi - Laocai

Visit to Hochiminh Mausoleum, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, Museum of Fine Arts, Military Museum, Ngocson Temple and Hoankiem Lake. Pedicab tour about 1hour to Hanoi Old Quarters. In the evening departure for Laocai by train. Overnight on train.

Day 3: Laocai - Sapa    

Arrival in Laocai. Transfer to Sapa by bus. Then discover Sapa by yourself. Dinner and overnight in Sapa.

Day 4: Fansipan Conquest

Trekking to height of 2200m through Hue’mong villages en-route. Overnight in forest.

Day 5: Fansipan Conquest

Trekking to height of 2700 exploration of primeval forest. Reaching 3000m high peak. Down to base for Fansipan Peak at height of 2900m. Overnight in forest.

Day 6: Fansipan Conquest

Conquest of Fansipan Peak-3143m with steep slopes. Return to the base at height of 2900m. Overnight in forest.

Day 7: Fansipan Conquest

Return to height of 2200m. Overnight in forest.




 

Day 8: Fansipan Conquest

Return to Sapa. Dinner and overnight in Sapa .

Day 9: Fansipan Conquest

Visit to Sapa on the market day. Return to Laocai by public bus in the afternoon for taking a train to Hanoi. Overnight on train.

Day 10: Leave Hanoi

Shopping or free at leisure until time transfer to airport for departure. End of the tour.
